Shop till you drop to help the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign
Wednesday 1 April 2009
With the Tesco partnership, you can now help to raise money to provide vital equipment for children with muscular dystrophy, just by making special purchases instore and using cash machines at Tesco.
Every time a cash machine is used at Tesco until the end of February 2010 Tesco Personal Finance will make a donation of 0.0125p. This applies to every transaction whether you are withdrawing cash or even if you're just checking your balance! It is hoped that this will raise at least £50,000 for the charity.
Tesco will also be donating 10p to the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign every time a greeting card is purchased from their special charity range of cards - it is hoped this will raise a massive £250,000.
Suffolk brewers Adnam's and Tesco are joining forces to donate 10p each, that's 20p in total, for every bottle sold of their Lighthouse Beer sold in Tesco. It is hoped that this will raise over £15,000.
