The specially-made biscuits will feature the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign's distinctive kite logo in icing and will be available to buy from the in store bakeries of over 100 Tesco stores across the country until the end of February 2010. Each biscuit will be sold for 79p with 5p donated to the charity's Giving children equipment to be independent campaign.
Jane Field, mother of 12-year-old Murray who has muscular dystrophy, said:
This is a fantastic promotion that will raise much needed money for children across the UK with this devastating condition. It also gives us all a great, guilt-free reason to eat more biscuits and treat ourselves!
