Superstores North get sporty with fundraising weekend

The entire Superstores North format worked up a sweat for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign with
a Sporting Greats fundraising weekend involving 230 stores.
From the Midlands to the Highlands, store staff got active on exercise bikes and treadmills, held five-a-side football tournaments, went to work in sporting fancy dress and even sumo-wrestled to raise over £100,000.
A huge thank you and congratulations goes to Linda Dow for her work in organising this massive event!
Alison Hogge and the staff at Tesco Whitehaven (pictured right) were amongst those getting involved, putting on their cycling helmets for a coast-to-coast cycle ride as part of the event.
