Ross' new equipment gives him a lift
Twelve-year-old Ross Pike from
Northamptonshire has a permanent electric hoist fittedinto his bedroom and bathroom that is vital for bathing and bedtime.
However, this does not extend throughout his house and has meant that he was unable to spend time with his family in their living room.
This changed when Ross received a portable hoist worth just under £2,000. Ross can now move around his house without having to be lifted, saving his mum from severe back pain that could leave her unable to care for her child.
Ross is now able to relax, do his exercises and spend more time with his family, leading to a happier household.
